When it comes to working in a recording studio, one of the first questions is: how much does it cost? This is completely understandable—every artist, producer, or podcaster wants to know what investment is needed to bring their project to life. At our studio, we’ve made everything as simple, transparent, and convenient as possible: we operate on an hourly rate of $30 per hour. No hidden fees, no mandatory packages, no “minimum 5-hour bookings.” You only pay for the time you actually use.
Why Is Hourly Billing So Convenient?
Hourly billing means freedom. Recorded a track in two hours? Great. Spent five hours on mixing? All good. There’s no need to overpay for unused time or fit into rigid packages. You control your time and budget. Most importantly, you know exactly what you’re paying for.
No complicated calculations. No surcharges for “evening hours,” “weekends,” or “special conditions.” We have a flat rate: $30 per hour, whether you’re recording vocals, instruments, voiceovers, or mixing.
What’s Included in the Hourly Rate?
Our approach is to provide maximum value without extra charges. With hourly rental, you get:
You can use this time however you like: for recording, playback, processing, rehearsals, or editing material.
Examples of How to Estimate Project Costs
• Recording a Single:
If you have an arrangement ready and just need to record vocals, 2–3 hours might suffice. That’s only $60–$90.
• Small Album (EP):
Let’s say 4–5 tracks, with each taking 4–5 hours for recording, takes, and basic processing. That’s $80–$150 per track, depending on your preparedness and speed.
• Mixing and Mastering:
Mixing a track often takes 2–6 hours, depending on the number of tracks and tasks. Mastering might add 1–2 hours. Again, you only pay for the time used.
• Podcasts and Voiceovers:
If you’re a voice actor, podcaster, or blogger, 1–2 hours may be enough for recording, reviewing, and light sound processing. Quick, convenient, and no overpayments.
Pay Only for Results
The most important thing—you’re not paying for “empty air.” Your payment is an investment in quality. You’re not just renting a room; you’re getting a professional workspace where every element is geared toward results. And those results are in your hands.
Whether you come alone or with a full team, the billing remains hourly. It’s fair, convenient, and maximally flexible.
Why Is This Cost-Effective?
• You control your project budget
• You can experiment without fear of overpaying
• You plan your working time efficiently
• You work in comfortable conditions with a clear pricing model
